Colombo: The number of COVID-19 infections in Sri Lanka rose to 335, health officials said, after five people tested positive on Thursday.

“Among the five patients, four were undergoing quarantine at their homes in Bandaranayake Mawatha, Colombo,” Dr. Anil Jasinghe, director general of health services, said.

The health ministry noted that 222 infected people are being treated at present, while 105 have recovered. Seven people have died due to the virus.
