Milestones are milestones, mere distance recorders
How you travelled and journeyed unknown,
Age too is just one such passing number
Till time it is for eternal slumber.

No dreams remembered, nothing recalled
The snores, likely drowned them all,
But sleep it is that then removes
Dark clouds and feelings of gloom and pall.

Milestones just go whizzing by
A look at you and then goodbye
Onwards, to the miles ahead
Footprints all, long gone dead!

History, now ain’t history,
Used to be someone’s story,
Now re- made, redacted, altered
Someone’s glory, now all gory!

‘Tis all rush and Sustainability
Man’s actions a mystery,
Plus ca change plus c’est la memes chose
Man’s forgotten his mortality!

And, therefore, in this madness extreme
Force is all , all supreme!
Peace, up in smoke somewhere
Nightmares abound , where lies the Dream!

So warped today is the human mind
At the precipice of an abyss stands Mankind,
A little mistaken touch somewhere
And, only ‘nukes’ will then be left behind!

Care, Compassion for each other
Has no meaning, Sister, Brother,
Split we are by a million things
Greed, creed, and our given colour!

God is One, O Fellow Man
Can you not this understand,
We’re all the same in hamlet or
In that golden palace grand !
