Is AI the  way forward, or
Out there to destroy Humanity,
After all what is  ‘artificial’ can’t be real
And, what is fake never trustworthy!

Now, logic can really not illogical be
So wouldn’t you ride the same> horse as me,
Where for God’s sake will AI take us
Except, a little  faster towards eternity.

Aren’t we in great distress, friends
With most unable to make ends meet,
Of course, whoever worries about desert sands
So long as you’ve got a  seat in the Grandstands!

But, if those at the bottom of the long list
Remain where they are, tragically displaced
By intelligence, then it’s all hunky dory Isn’t  it,
Then who cares about that gory story!

Thank God , Wisdom does not stop thinking
And the eyes, at horror,  don’t stop blinking,
About time we worried a little about ourselves
When all we see is hunger and empty shelves.

In a lot of places, if not everywhere
Is Misery on wide display,
AI hailed and the ‘real’ ignored
Is that the game we wish to play?

Knowledgable voices are now being heard
Raising concerns with great  dismay,
Hope to Heavens we realize soon
Before we all fall as ugly prey.

I guess all of the above is simply naive
When Might is all that  appears right,
And sadly, friends, does all else then
Simply, vanish  out of sight!

Mammon’s the new God in town
GDP the new Angel above,
Lovely “Lolly” minus the pop’s sweeter
And, my penury deserves the  shove,
Any Old How!

Tragic, alas, beyond words!
