India reports low daily new COVID-19 cases

As part of a continued declining trend, India has reported the lowest Daily New Cases in the last 50 days with 152,734 cases in the past 24 hours, IBNS reported

As part of a continued declining trend, India has reported the lowest Daily New Cases in the last 50 days with 152,734 cases in the past 24 hours, IBNS reported. 

The country has recorded less than 200,000 Daily New Cases for 4 continuous days now.

India has been witnessing a continuous fall in the active caseload. The Active Caseload has further decreased; 20,26,092 active cases have been reported today.

A net decline of 88,416 is witnessed in the last 24 hours and active cases are now only 7.22% of the country's total Positive Cases.

India’s Daily Recoveries continue to outnumber the Daily New Cases for the 18th consecutive day - 238,022 recoveries were registered in the last 24 hours.

The cumulative number of COVID-19 vaccine doses administered in the country has exceeded 213 million under the Nationwide Vaccination Drive, officials said. 

“Only six states have more than 100,000 active Covid-19 cases (as of May 30), the government said. The six states are Karnataka (350,087), Tamil Nadu (310,157), Maharashtra (279,347), Kerala (233,425), Andhra Pradesh (173,622) and West Bengal (102,398).”
