Colombo: Sri Lanka reported 13 new cases, raising the total number of people contracted the coronavirus to 718, the Health Ministry said.

According to the Epidemiology Unit report released at 11:15 pm Sunday, 527 confirmed patients are receiving treatment at hospitals while 176 individuals are currently under investigations in hospitals.

Seven patients have died and 184 patients including the Chinese tourist, who was the first COVID-19 case detected in the country in January and discharged last month, have fully recovered and been discharged from hospitals.
