Three young Pakistanis make it to Forbes list

Young musician Abdullah Siddiqui has become the latest Pakistani to make it to the Forbes 30 under 30 list, Tribune reported

Young musician Abdullah Siddiqui has become the latest Pakistani to make it to the Forbes 30 under 30 list, Tribune reported.

Siddiqui, who has produced three albums so far, took to Instagram and shared the news in a post.

"Forbes 30 Under 30. I’m completely stunned and so incredibly grateful," the Resistance singer posted adding, "To everyone who helped me get here, thank you."

Siddiqui began producing English-language electronic music when he was 11 and started releasing it as an independent artist, five years later.

 Siddiqui rose to fame when his original track Resistance was featured on season five of the television series Nescafé Basement, that showcases the music of underground artists..

He has written and produced music for some of the prominent singers in Pakistan, including Fawad Khan, Meesha Shafi, Shamoon Ismail and Aima Baig.

 Besides Siddiqui, two other Pakistanis - artist Misha Japanwala and government official Hannia Zia –  also figured in the Forbes 30 Under 30 list.
