Veteran Indian actor Dilip Kumar, who is currently hospitalised, is on oxygen support, his official Twitter handle confirmed.

He is not on ventilator.

"Dilip Saab is on oxygen support - not on ventilator. He is stable. Waiting for few test results to perform pleural aspiration : Dr Jalil Parkar, chest specialist treating Saab," the official Twitter page of the actor said.

The 98-year-old actor, seen as a cinematic legend in the subcontinent for essaying many memorable roles in his films, was admitted to the hospital last month as well for his regular health checkup and was discharged two days later. (SAM)
