Prime Minister Imran Khan on Tuesday kicked off the coronavirus vaccination drive with the first shot administrated to a doctor in Islamabad.

Addressing the ceremony to mark the launch of the campaign, the premier felicitated his health team for securing the vaccines and thanked China for donating 500,000 doses of the Sinopharm vaccine.

PM’s aide on health Dr Fasial Sultan among other officials was present on the occasion to oversee the inoculation drive.
