I loved listening through this entire conversation, which seemed to me to be extremely balanced, in touch with ground reality of key challenges (Pak's being tempered with the legacy of military holding disproportionate sway over politics and policies and its working with 'jihadists', terrorists or whatever, whereas, India's being its compulsion as it may be called to play to the masses of vote bank) while at the same time exploring the possibilities in positive realms of encouraging and engaging with peace mongers on both sides of the border.
We know Pak will not change their collaboration with jihadists. That's in their DNA. India will no more take things lying down and will be prepared to hit hard and deep. This is new India. Both these are at crossroads with each other.
So cultivation of and preparing a conducive environment for dual peace mongering presents pretty much the only chance of a semblance to break the uneasiness. Amen to that.
Thoroughly enjoyed the session and especially its concluding part. 🙏

CmdeUday Bhaskar articulates his thoughts well but didn't touch on our own int failure, and also our own def preparedness . If war does happen we still can beat Pakistan but with a very narrow margin asPak has a very narrow depth .
