Residents of Pakistan's Paktia province recently demonstrated against the Pakistan government and in support of Afghanistan National Security Adviser (NSA) Hamdullah Mohib.

They also asked Islamabad to stop supporting anti-Afghan terrorist groups, IBNS reported.

Former Ambassador and Canadian Cabinet Minister Chris Alexander tweeted: " Residents of Paktia staged a peaceful protest, calling on neighboring Pakistan to stop supporting anti-Afghan militant groups. The protesters also supported remarks made by National Security Council adviser Hamdullah Mohib about Pakistan's two-faced politics."

He also shared a video of the event.

Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi recently said that his ministry had severed ties with Afghanistan’s national security adviser Hamdullah Mohib over his recent “brothel” comment.

Mohib had often accused Pakistan, particularly its military, of supporting the Taliban insurgency in his country, charges Islamabad rejects. Mohib compared the neighboring country to a “brothel” while addressing a public gathering along the Pakistani border in eastern Nangarhar province.

“My blood has been boiling ever since you compared Pakistan to a brothel house. You should be ashamed of yourself and must reform your conduct,” Qureshi said of Mohib in speaking to reporters Saturday in his native eastern city of Multan.

“As a foreign minister of Pakistan, I tell you that no Pakistani will talk to you or shake hands with you until you stop foul-mouthing Pakistan,” he was quoted as saying by VOA.
