Imagination will not bring you nor lead you to, Paradise
Beware of Satan’s machinations and the artful, Disguise

Silence can be all heavenly, noise a lot of empty drums
Nothing’s hidden, walls have ears, watch out for prying, Eyes

Empty vessels, lots of clanging, Nothingness never an empty bowl
For, emptiness is not without hope as pray we do to vacant, Skies

Ask all those, Believers firm, who count on Him for sustenance
“Doubters” there among them, surely, but no one His presence, Denies.

Tears are never wasted, never futile, cleanse the eyes if nothing else
How else will a heart true solace find, for its grief-stricken, wrenching, Cries.

Turn and toss, do what you will, sleep will always a challenge be
For, Truth lies, right below you, in the sheet that’s full of, your Lies.

Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter, stages all of Passing Time,
How will a flower bloom again till it succumbs to the Season called, Demise.
