Senior US official visiting Pakistan to discuss energy security
In Lahore, Pyatt will visit the Lahore University of Management Sciences' Electric Vehicle Labs to highlight technological advances made through US-Pakistan cooperation.

As Pakistan recovers from devastating floods and the global energy crisis, a senior US energy official is visiting the country to discuss energy security and clean energy transition.
US Department of State’s Bureau of Energy Resources Assistant Secretary Geoffrey R. Pyatt will travel to Lahore and Islamabad March 14-15.
He will stress the US commitment to ensuring Pakistan’s sustainable energy future by promoting cooperation on regional energy security and the clean energy transition through the US-Pakistan Green Alliance. In Lahore, Pyatt will visit the Lahore University of Management Sciences' Electric Vehicle Labs to highlight technological advances made through US-Pakistan cooperation.
In Islamabad, he will lead the US delegation for the US-Pakistan Energy Security Dialogue. Pyatt will also meet with officials from the government and participate in a roundtable with Pakistani women leaders on energy.
