Five Pakistani soldiers of the Frontier Corps were killed and two injured in two separate attacks in the country’s restive northwestern province of Baluchistan.

“The bomb blast took place near the official vehicle of the Frontier Corps in which one FC soldier was martyred on the spot and two other soldiers were injured,” senior police officer Shaukat Mohmand was quoted as saying by Dawn, adding that the blast badly damaged the vehicle. 

The incident happened near the provincial capital Quetta of Baluchistan.

Personnel of FC and police rushed to the area after the blast and took victims of the blast to a hospital.

Another attack happened in Kohlu district of the province where four soldiers were killed by armed men on their check-post. The report said armed men started firing on soldiers guarding the check post there, resulted in the killings.
