If the box was full of Evil
Why was it gifted at all?
Is Pandora the name for Temptation
The cause for Man’s downfall?

And, ‘twas God who gifted this
Greek or another matters not,
A God is a God, wherever He’s from
Like water’s that cold, when heated it’s hot!

Being funny doesn’t lighten
The seriousness of the issue,
If you feel like laughing do
And, if crying, then there’s the tissue!

Coming back to the Box, of course
Pandora’s or the Plane’s Black,
Mysteries were best resolved
By Christie and that Poirot’s crack!

Now if you’re not Dame Agatha’s fan
How then can you Pandora’s be,
And, if you haven’t the drift got
You, too, are an innocent mystery!

Mysteries become histories
No use then to anyone,
If Pandora was the gift to Greece
Who gave Satan to us,
 Anyone?

And, if you can answer the question
Then, you're driving down the wrong lane,
'Cos your gift to Man-kind
Will only cause him pain

For that is what God's often do!
