The Maldives on Monday recorded 83 new cases of COVID-19.

The Health Protection Agency (HPA) said 82 cases were identified in the Greater Male’ Region and that the remaining case was recorded from the atolls. While the new cases are of 61 locals and 22 foreigners, the total number of positive cases is now at 8,667.
