Four civilians were killed in two separate explosions in Kabul and Kandahar provinces of Afghanistan on Saturday morning, police and security sources confirmed.

Four civilians were killed in two separate explosions in Kabul and Kandahar provinces of Afghanistan on Saturday morning, police and security sources confirmed.

Kabul police in a statement said an explosion happened at a property dealer’s office in Tapa-e-Karte Naw in Kabul’s District 8 at around 9:10 am Kabul time.

Police said that two civilians were killed and four more were wounded in the explosion.

An investigation has started into the incident, TOLOnews reported.

Meanwhile, security sources said two civilians were killed and three more, including two police officers, were wounded in an explosion in Daman district in Kandahar on Saturday morning.

The sources said that the blast targeted a vehicle carrying Pir Mohammad, the district governor of Daman, but he has survived the explosion.

No group has claimed responsibility for the two incidents.
