The Emirates Airlines has extended suspension of all flights between India and UAE till June 14 and decreed hat that passengers who have transited through India in the last 14 days will not be allowed into the Gulf nation.

UAE nationals, holders of UAE Golden Visas and members of diplomatic missions, who comply with the revised published Covid-19 protocols, are, however, exempted, Khaleej Times reported.

The UAE’s National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority (NCEMA) had on May 4 extended an initial 10-day suspension of passenger entry from India to the UAE until further notice.

The flights were first suspended from 11.59 pm on April 24 as India was caught in the midst of a deadly second wave of the Coronavirus infection.
