Ustad Rashid Khan was once described by Pandit Bhimsen Joshi, one of India’s greatest Hindustani classical music exponents of all time, as the future of Hindustani classical music. 

His website describes him as the 31st in the direct line to Tansen, considered the supreme master of Hindustani classical singing who lived in the 16th century. Ustad Rashid Khan spoke to Mayank Chhaya Reports.
