Nepal’s Cabinet has decided to further resume tourist activities like cable cars, jungle safaris, and museum tours in the country in order to boost the local economy.

Earlier the government had allowed only mountaineering and trekking activities in the country. Following the decision, the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation geared up to plan the opening of more activities in the sector.

The ministry issued notices on 13 November to all service providers of the industry to resume these activities following the health safety measures set up by the Ministry of Health and Population.
