Nepal has assured the public of the availability of  COVID-19 vaccine as soon as it becomes available in the international market, the Himalayan Times reported

Nepal has assured the public of the availability of  COVID-19 vaccine as soon as it becomes available in the international market, the Himalayan Times reported. 

The government is working to ensure that Nepalis will receive COVID-19 vaccine with its availability, said Bhanubhakt Dhakal, Minister For Health and Population. 

During an event on public health in the capital, the minister said, “Necessary legal steps have been taken to make sure that the management and availability of the vaccine are easy, and is procured on time.”

Till now, Nepal has reported around 2,18,000 COVID-19 cases in the country.
