Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has said all the bars in the capital will remain shut on the eve of New Year 2021, December 31, and it will also not allow any DJ parties to maintain law and order.
 
DMP Commissioner Md Shafiqul Islam disclosed the restrictions while addressing a meeting on Monday on security and traffic management on Christmas Day and 31st night.

People have been requested to refrain from celebrating the New Year's Eve with fireworks.
