The Bangladesh government has requested information on 371 users through 241 requests to Facebook from January to June this year.

Of these, 142 were legal process requests and 99 were emergency requests,the social media company said in its latest transparency report.

In response to the government's requests, Facebook provided some data in 44% of cases.
