Bangladesh’s COVID-19 vaccination program will begin on Wednesday and it will be virtually inaugurated by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.

Secretary of Health Services Division under the Health Ministry Abdul Mannan said the vaccination will start from January 27. He disclosed the information while attending a program at Kidney Foundation hospital in the city on Saturday morning.
 
For the last couple of days, Health Minister Zahid Maleque and Secretary Abdul Mannan have been assuring that they would disclose the date of vaccination once the prime minister provides the schedule.
