Workers who had returned from Saudi Arabia for vacations, or in the middle of the pandemic, are now racing against the time to get back to their respective workplace in the Kingdom as two main airlines Biman and Saudia are only issuing tickets to those who had already booked their return tickets on their arrival.

Other airlines Qatar Airways, Air Arabia and Fly Dubai, have started their flights from Dhaka, but they yet to start carrying any transit passengers.

Almost a third of passengers used the flights to book return tickets to Saudi Arabia, and they are now struggling to find tickets in Biman and Saudia.
