The High Commission of India facilitated an online business promotion event on 21 August 2020 aimed at boosting bilateral economic engagement.

The online event featured presentations on the products offered by BEML Limited, India which was followed by an interaction between the participants.

BEML Limited, India is a multi-technology and multi-location company and has supplied its products to more than 68 countries including in the Middle East, Africa and South and South-East Asia.

Participants from the Sri Lankan side included representatives from the Government and the Armed Forces of Sri Lanka, apart from representatives and members from the various Chambers of Commerce and Industry.
