Korean International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), which has been helping the Bhutan film Industry in building its capacity since 2013, on Wednesday started a 10-day capacity building training, though this time virtually.  KOICA is training Bhutanese filmmakers in commercial planning and development, direction and digital storytelling.

In Bhutan, there are 140 registered production houses but the country only manages to produce 15 films on an average in a year. KOICA programme coordinator Eunkyoung Koh also informed that the agency is also trying to get help from different players in South Korea to develop a film studio in Bhutan.
