No dialogue with terrorists: Gillani

Islamabad, May 4 (Xinhua): Pakistani Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gillani said Sunday the government would not enter into dialogue with any terrorist or extremist, the official APP news agency reported.

"We will talk only with those who will lay down their arms," Gillani said, while speaking at the Multan Press Club in Multan city of Punjab province.

Replying to a question about the failure of talks with Baitullah Mehsud, Taliban chief in Pakistan, Gilani said he had not got the details of the talks and would be able to say on the subject after speaking with the governor of the North West Frontier Province.

Meanwhile, the Pakistani Taliban Sunday gave a two-month deadline to people to grow beard. Taliban deputy Maulvi Faqir and spokesman Maulvi Umar threatened that action would be taken against violators.
